Worker Voices on the Journey: What Worked, What Didn't, and What Needs to Change

Overview

Migrant workers are at the center of the global labor mobility system, yet their experiences are often missing from conversations about how that system should work. In this session, migrant workers share their journeys firsthand – what worked, what didn’t, and what the industry can learn to build a system that works better for those who follow.

Key questions

  • What does the labor mobility journey look like from a worker’s perspective, from recruitment to arrival to employment?
  • Where does the system support workers, and where does it let them down?
  • What should recruiters, employers and governments do differently?

Who should join

Everyone. Whatever your role in the system, this is your chance to hear what the journey is really like for the workers at the heart of it.
